By the end of this course, you will understand.

• Health and Safety legislation in relation to control of hazardous substances.
• The hazards and risks of accidents and ill-health associated with the use of hazardous substances.
• The control measures that should be used to reduce the risk of accidents and ill-health from exposure to the hazardous substances.
